Jeff Knoll cuts the ribbon to reopen White Oaks library!

There are few things that make me as happy as opening (or reopening) libraries. As the Chair of the Oakville Public Library board it was my great honour to cut the ribbon to reopen White Oaks!

The White Oaks branch of the Oakville Public Library is again open to residents following a closure for updates.

As part of the library’s 2016-19 strategic plan, the physical and virtual space have transformed to encourage creativity, collaboration and discovery. Residents who frequent the White Oaks branch will notice an increased lounging area, more seating, new carpets, and fresh paint.

I am extremely proud of what the Oakville Public Library has achieved and thrilled to share with you new and modern branches, exciting opportunities for the community, and the adventures that only libraries can offer!

Learn more about your libraries at www.opl.ca. And I am always happy to hear your ideas, concerns, and requests for our libraries moving forward!
