Today, Marc Grant and I sent a letter to Town CAO Ray Green and Hospital President John Oliver, in which we ask some very important questions to support the request for $200 million in local share funding.
In addition, we have a financing idea where we suggest using the proceeds from the sale of Blink (the fibre optic provider previously ownded by Oakville Hydro) to a fund for the hospital.
We are supposed to make a decision on Monday, March 1st, 2010. I want to support the new hospital becuase we urgently need it, but I am very worried about this request without MUCH more information.
